About Family Worship Center
Who We Are...
- Non-Denominational, word-of-faith church
- Pastors Tom and Vicki Leuther were sent from Calvary Cathedral International in Fort Worth, Texas
- The church was founded in 1997 and began worshipping in an old country bar along the south outer road of I-70 just east of the US 63 & I-70 Interchange. In September of 2002, the former congregation of Grace Church of Mid-Missouri joined Family Worship Center and sold all of their assets, including a beautiful new building, to FWC. The building and the surrounding 36 acres of land lies on the beautiful outskirts of Columbia's south side near Rock Bridge State Park.
- Approximately 300 members call Family Worship Center home.
We're partners with Kenneth Copeland Ministries

-
There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit (I Peter 1:2)
-
The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this earth (Colossians 2:9, Matthew 1:18-25, II Corinthians 5:21, I John 2:2, Acts 2:31-35)
-
That you must be born again by repentance and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ (John 3:16)
-
In water Baptism by immersion for all who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior being baptized in the Name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)
-
In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, subsequent to the new birth, and in exercising the Spiritual gifts, as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, to the edifying of the believer and the body of Christ, given to all who ask in faith (Acts 2:4, I Corinthians 12:7-10)
-
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life which is God’s standard of living for His people (I Peter 1:2)
-
The partaking of the Lord’s Supper by the saints of God (I Corinthians 11:23-26)
-
The redemptive work of Jesus Christ provides divine healing of the human body in answer to the prayer of faith (I Peter 2:24)
-
In the blessed hope- the pre-millennial rapture of the church at Jesus Christ’s coming (I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
