Who We Are...
•A non-denominational, Word-of-Faith body led by Pastors Tom and Vicki Leuther who, after serving as associate ministers for Pastor Bob Nichols at Calvary Cathedral International in Fort Worth, Texas, were sent out to Columbia, Mo to start a church;
•After arriving in Columbia, Pastors Tom and Vicki began worshipping in an old, abandoned country bar until an opportunity to relocate presented itself. In September of 2002, God miraculously enabled FWC to move to our current location- a Worship Center on 36 acres on the beautiful outskirts of Columbia's south side, near Rock Bridge State Park.
What We Believe...
1. The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative, written Word of God by which we must live (II Timothy 3:16);
2. There is one God , eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit (I Peter 1:2);
3. The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this earth (Colossians 2:9, Matthew 1:18-25, II Corinthians 5:21, I John 2:2, Acts 2:31-35);
4. That you must be born again by repentance and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ (John 3:16);
5. In Water Baptism by immersion for all who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior being baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19);
6. In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit , subsequent to the new birth, and in exercising the Spiritual gifts, as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, to the edifying of the believer and the body of Christ, given to all who ask in faith (Acts 2:4, I Corinthians 12:7-10);
7.The Redemptive Work of Jesus Christ provides divine healing of the human body in answer to the prayer of faith
(I Peter 2:24).
